Unique recycled boat furniture Our new Old Boat collection is constructed of reclaimed boat timber, generally hard woods such as ulin (iron), teak and intaran (mahogany). Our source boats are found on the exotic Indonesian islands of Bali, Java, Lombok, Sulawesi and Kalimantan. As we believe in fair trade, our manufacturers have made agreements with local fishermen; when a fishing trawler has become too expensive to repair and would ordinarily be burned as cooking fuel, the fisherman sell them earning money towards a new vessel to continue their trade.
